Is it possible to make the tip gradient?

what I am trying to do on my superhero blog site is that the tip of the tooltip is on the right, and the bubble body is vertically gradient, meaning that the tooltip cannot be just a solid color. I can post a screenshot if that's not clear. Your help/ideas are appreciated

In that case, update the CSS not using the gradient so that the callout angel and the tooltip body will always be in the same colour.
