Changes to the Css are not effective?

the changes made to the css are not been effecting the menu displayed.. so, please tell how to change the dimensions of the vertical menu.

Not sure if I'm posting int he right place, but I'm trying to alter it so that when you take the mouse off of an LI to reach its submenu, the text color still stays the same as the mouseover color. For example...li had blue text at first, becomes white when mouseover for sub menu. I want it to stay white while mousing over the sub menus li's and so forth.

You can try increasing the line-height of the element "a" by modifying the vertical menu's CSS file.
