responsive and tablet friendly

I am modernizing one of my sites and your vertical menu gives the site a nice modern look - thank you!
The other part this site needs is tablet friendliness and responsiveness to display size changes. Is there a chance that you will add those features to your menu system?
I have made changes to the css to make the width of the main menu dynamic and might be able to do something to the fly-out menus for nested menus but have no idea on how to handle fly-outs with a touch screen.
Please let us know if you might consider adding this.

Due to limited resources recently we have no plan to add that feature.

I have accomplished Merlin's request by using Menucool ddmenu. I am using its responsive version, and change the @media query to switch to mobile mode by a quite larger width value(I set the switching threshold to be 1024px other than the 320px mobile width), so the menu becomes the vertical when the screen size is no larger than 1024px, and it works quite good for me.
