Can I use png image in the JavaScript Image Slider

6
So I'm using this slider and I've been having some issues with .png's and the transitions.

initial slide is fine. However, subsequent slides (regardless of the transition effect) lose their transparencies for the black block that holds the text and the first slide doesn't gracefully disappear- it literally just 'snaps' out of existence!

It is strongly recommended not to use png if the png has transparent areas as the previous image will be set as the background of the slider and the transparent png cannot fully cover the background.

Sorry, was typing from my phone. I agree it was pretty terrible.

Does this also explain the 'pop' in affect?

Yes, as the background was set immediately after the animation and it will be come out all of sudden if the new png image didn't cover the background.

If you have to use the png images, can you consider our other sliders such as the jQuery Slider?
