IE The drop down centers image by placing it at center bottom of the links and columns

This is for an Intranet site and before I wrote this I put the trial version up on our intranet to see if it had the same issue and it does.

Here is the issue:

When the mouse hovers over “Unde Omnis” or any menu for that mater

The drop down opens up, however it centers everything including the image by placing it at center bottom of the links and columns.

This displays perfect when you open it as a file and right click open with I.E. and all other browsers are fine as well.

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi thanks for your reply back,

I figured it out; I forgot that by default I.E. forces all Intranet pages/sites into compatibility mode.

I resolved this by placing the below in the html just below the title:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge" />

Again thanks for your quick response and Happy Holidays

Thanks for your feedback.

We have not put any <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge" /> in www.menucool.com, and we didn't see any IE issues. Did you see those issues in menucool.com?

No your site was fine, this only seems to be an issue when the site/page is being hosted internally for a Company Intranet. I.E by default recognizes the site as intranet and forces it into compatibility mode.
